Side two of peer review

A) What did you find most challenging about the self-assessment process?
Catching and fixing multiple mistakes! I went in the wrong direction, but after going through the self-assessment I have fixed most. I’m still having an issue with the
password - so I’m hoping the link/invite worked!
B) What do you think is the value of self-assessment and how might the processes of self-assessment improve student learning?
Certainly gives you a way to analyze your success and give you a path towards greater success. I am still finding the balance of home/ work/school. Still feeling overwhelmed, but with these aids I feel more comfortable in the work I’ve done and clear about what I
need to do still!

3. Please respond to the additional reflective questions:
A) What did you find most challenging about the self-assessment process?
Being honest about my progress! I already wrote a self-assessment the day it was due, hurriedly, and it was absolutely incorrect. After speaking with my peers today, I was also missing multiple things. I am having a slow start to a fast program and I am struggling. I have no doubt I will catch up - but wow. Previous self-reflection - hope literature. I am going to put both of these into my Self-assessments tab - just as a reminder of the power of delusion as a coping mechanism.
B) What do you think is the value of self-assessment and how might the processes of self-assessment improve student learning?
I am extremely engaged in the literature, the videos, and the reflexivity of the program so far, but consolidating that engagement into properly cited material is proving more difficult than my previous degree. I know I’m almost there, but I can see us neurodivergent folks get accommodations. I have never needed them before! This second assessment has been invaluable. I am now going back, refreshing, rejigging (and deciphering) my notes and work, so it has strengthened my learning, showed my assets and deficiencies, but given me a path forward.
